I would look at that girl and call her beautiful,
I would try to capture her when she was gone,
I would change her to make her better,
I would want her back when she stayed the same,
I would hate her as soon as she became now,
I would love her as soon as she became then,
I would long for her when I hate me,
I would love me when I was her,
I would hate her for now,
Because she is me.

Adventurously Ever After
The story says,
That happily ever after,
Happens to the best,
With light and love and laughter,
But what of Misery,
And what of Bad,
Why only Happy?
Only Glad?
Pay attention now,
For most important is the next,
Pay attention now,
for most important is the text,
Sometimes what you see is not the same as what you know,
And even in the happy times there must be room to grow,
So they lived not Happily ever after, in the castle on the hill,
But they lived in times of Balance, times of Thought, and times of Will,
They lived just for the moment, they lived just for the Day,
They lived again for just the night, to chase all thought away,
And happily ever after vanished in the midst of time,
And with great joy and rejoicing, was a never ending rhyme,
'The Happy days have come at last,
The Happy days of light,
The Crying days have come at last,
The days in which to fight.'
And Balanced times brought balanced souls,
And evil went away,
And in it's place was pleasantry,
And a mixed, adventurous, day,
So even in the darkest times,
Think back on what could be,
Think forward on to yesteryear,
And still remember 'The
Happy days have come at last,
The Happy days of light,
The Crying days have come at last,
The days in which to fight.'
And whenever says the story,
'They lived Happily from then on'
Just remember that with Balance,
all the evil things are gone.
That happily ever after,
Happens to the best,
With light and love and laughter,
But what of Misery,
And what of Bad,
Why only Happy?
Only Glad?
Pay attention now,

Memories and Sometimes You
As memories slide softly through the sand,
And, fluttery as butterflies, won't seem to stay in hand,
I clasp your frigid hand in mine, completely, truly, and,
I say "it's time to pay the piper, and it's time to join the band."
We walk along a road that doesn't ever seem to end,
And it always seems the edge is just around the bend,
You'll have left me in the morning, as that seems to be the trend,
But scars will heal, wounds will leave, and tragedies will mend.
Eating oranges, sometimes you would even eat the rind,
It seems that fragment latched on somewhere deep inside my mind,
And though you've left, you've also left that memory behind,
I think that though you're gone, it's always there for me to find.
We sat so sweetly on the surface of the deep, dark, pond,
Staring down into it, wondering what things lay beyond,
I watched you watch, and thought of how much i was fond,
Of thoughts that twisted deep beneath your pretty hair of blonde.
And though i walk forever through the empty, changing, sand,
I only think of you, how you'd have given me your hand,
So even though you're dead and gone, I'll always love you, and,
I'll say "its time to pay the piper and it's time to leave the band."
And, fluttery as butterflies, won't seem to stay in hand,
I clasp your frigid hand in mine, completely, truly, and,
